ETDE offers a wide range of low and high voltage electrical infrastructure solutions ranging from cable laying, installation and jointing, through to high voltage substation switchgear design and installation. In addition, we can project-manage electrical infrastructure upgrades and provide control through our senior authorised engineers and associated permit systems.

 

ETDE was the first contractor in the UK to operate on the distribution network operators (DNO) network as an independent connections provider for un-metered supply works. We were also awarded the Lloyds National Electricity Registration Scheme accreditation, which allows us to offer street lighting electrical mains jointing, transfers, disconnections and reconnections on the DNO and Private Network Operator networks nationally.

We apply our extensive knowledge of vacuum and trenchless excavation technology to minimise disruption on major reinforcement schemes. We do this through the use of directional drilling or similar no-dig systems as an alternative to open trenching or for specialist crossing of obstructions.

 

We provide electricity suppliers, developers and statutory bodies with a single point of contact for solutions to meet the requirements of their particular development.
